The Togashi Family are an order of tattooed monks in the Dragon Clan.
Description
Togashi, the founding Kami of the Dragon Clan, did not start a family like the other Kami. Instead, he founded an order of tattooed monks dedicated to enlightenment, who earn the right to bear his name when they are initiated into the order. They are an oddity in the Empire in that they are monks who belong to the samurai caste, a situation that does not always sit well with other clans.
The monks of this order are generally inward looking, focused on their pursuit of enlightenment and the mental and physical training associated with it. Their motivations are frequently opaque and they speak in seemingly meaningless riddles as often as not. On the rare occasion they are seen outside Dragon lands they tend to have an inexplicably large influence on the events surrounding them.
